Job Description

The Massapequa Schools are looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable candidates for Monitor positions in our schools.

Monitors are responsible for student supervision in different capacities throughout our school buildings.  This can range from hallway supervision, to cafeterias, playgrounds, and even office spaces.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with students and other staff members
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (eg, 45 minutes)
• Ability to pass a background screening by Civil Service (fingerprinting will be necessary at employee’s own expense)
